Smile Smart for Your Health
Because Delta Dental of South Dakota is committed to providing you and your employees with quality dental benefit programs to maximize both your benefit dollars and the health of your employees, we've introduced Smile Smart for Your Health, an enhanced benefits program designed to improve oral health and provide medical cost savings. Delta Dental is adding the Smile Smart program as part of its standard dental plan designs for new groups and upon renewal for current groups through May 2009. Click here for more information.

Welcome Video for You and Your Employees
Our new welcome video is designed to introduce you and your employees to the benefits of Delta Dental. (Note that the video takes a fee seconds to load.)

Options to Stretch Annual Maximums
Delta Dental has introduced two new options that you as employers can add to your dental plan to increase your employee's annual maximums. The Maximum Bonus Account (MBA) allows $250 of a member's unused benefits to be placed in a special account that can be carried over and added to the benefits available in future years. The Prevention Pays program exempts benefits paid for diagnostic and preventive services from the enrollee's annual maximum benefit.

Both the Maximum Bonus Account and/or the Prevention Pays program are available to new and renewing Delta Dental client groups--both self-insured and individually-rated fully-insured groups. Actual costs will vary depending on a group's current maximum and claims experience. Click here for a brochure about both programs.
