Options to Stretch Annual Maximums
Dental Dental has introduced two new options that employers can
add to their dental plan to increase their employees annual maximums. The
Maximum Bonus Account (MBA) allows $250 of a member's unused benefits
to be placed in a special account that can be carried over and added
to the benefits available in future years. The Prevention Pays program
exempts benefits paid for diagnostic and preventive services from the
enrollee's annual maximum benefit. Both the Maximum Bonus Account and/or the Prevention Pays program are available to new and renewing Delta Dental client groups--both self-insured and individually-rated fully-insured groups.
